*A note on Place Cards vs Escort Cards: Traditionally, Place Cards include guest names, meal choice, and are set up on tables at the reception, meant to indicate which seat belongs to which guest. Escort Cards, traditionally include guest names, their table number, and are set up near the entrance of the reception, meant to “escort” guests from the entrance of the reception to their table.
